The gaming scene is currently buzzing with Starfield, and just a month ago, we couldn’t stop talking about anything other than Baldur’s Gate 3. But before that, back in early summer on June 5th, Diablo 4 was released. Remember? The commercials featuring Megan Fox gained quite a bit of popularity. Now, the renowned actress is set to conquer another major production – Mortal Kombat 1.
Megan Fox is voicing the character Nitara, who returns to Mortal Kombat 1 after 17 years
The game’s developer, NetherRealm Studios, shared a new trailer to introduce the newest fighter in the Mortal Kombat roster.
Nitara hails from the dark and desolate realm of Vaeternus and joins the battle in Mortal Kombat 1 to protect the vampire race. She utilizes her claws, fangs, and aerial abilities in combat. You can watch the new fighter in action in the above trailer.
Megan Fox shares: “Nitara is a kind of vampire creature coming from a strange realm. She’s both bad and good. She’s trying to save her people. I really liked her. She’s a vampire and clearly makes an impression for whatever reason. It’s great to be a part of the game. Because I’m not just voicing her, it’s going to feel like I am her.”
Fox also mentioned that she grew up playing Mortal Kombat and can’t believe she’s now voicing a character in the new game.
Mortal Kombat 1 will be released on September 19th (September 14th for early access holders) for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. What are your thoughts? Please don’t forget to share your opinions in the comments.
